Review of ATAR progress report
Dear colleagues

I am pleased to advise that the Admissions Transparency Implementation Working Group (IWG) has released an updated specification for phase two common admissions terminology and admissions information sets.

The new document  can be downloaded from the IWG web page.

As anticipated in the June 2017 joint higher education sector and Australian Government admissions transparency implementation plan, this update follows a review by the IWG of the phase one implementation. It has been developed and agreed by the IWG, incorporating input from institutions, peak bodies, tertiary admission centres, students and career advisers, including feedback on the experience and outcomes of the publication of phase one information sets in August 2017.

On behalf of IWG Chair Professor Kerri-Lee Krause, Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Academic) at La Trobe University, I would like to thank each of you and your organisations for your valuable input and contribution to the admissions transparency implementation work over the last year.

We look forward to our continued collaboration in 2018 as we progress with phase two implementation.

Yours sincerely

Steve Erskine
