Last year's RiskED article on mental health revealed it to be an area of concern for those working in the education sector. While the increased awareness of the issue is a step in the right direction, much more needs to be done to support mental health in our schools and colleges.

Enter Sally Kirkright. Sally is CEO of AccessEAP, an organisation that helped create the Employee Assistance Programs industry in Australia. For this RiskED article, Sally gives us an overview of mental health within a school environment and offers her insights into what you can do and the outcomes you can expect at your school.

And to finish with, we look at some encouraging findings from a PwC study on the financial benefits of undertaking mental health programs in the workplace.
