1.     Recreational Fishing Grants Program (RFGP) - small grants (VIC)
Every year the Victorian Government, through the Recreational Fishing Licence Trust Account, disburses revenue derived from the sale of Recreational Fishing Licences to projects that will improve recreational fishing in Victoria. The Small Grants Program provides funding of up to $5,000 (GST exclusive) for small recreational fishing projects. Schools are eligible to apply. 2.     Department of Industry, Innovation and Science. Maker Projects Stream B
Maker Projects aims to foster creativity and inquiry based learning in Australian schools and communities through the establishment of maker spaces in schools where students can apply their STEM knowledge as well as STEM related events and activities. 3.     The Andrews Foundation (VIC)
The Trust will accept Applications from kindergartens, schools (primary and secondary) for projects of building or equipment and innovative programs that will assist students. These programs must be locally based and be designed to benefit a substantial number of students. Applications may also be made by universities and TAFE colleges for Grants for the purposes stated above. The usual limit for such a Grant is $20,000.00. 4.     The Prime Minister's Prizes for Science (Science Teaching)
The prizes recognise the achievements and success of Australian scientists and innovators, as well as the critical role science educators play in inspiring and encouraging students to take an interest in science and consider science as a career. The Science Teaching Prizes are awarded to teachers who have made an outstanding contribution to science education. 5.     Community Road Safety Grants (VIC)
This program provides $1.5 million in funding to empower communities to prevent and reduce the number of lives lost and serious injuries on Victoria's roads.  Applications close 3pm Wednesday, 13 March 2019
