1.     World Environment Day 2017 Schoolyard Blitz
Teachers, youth program leaders and parents can help young people discover the nature around them. Run a mini-Bioblitz in the schoolyard using the Teacher's Guide and other resources. World Environment Day is Monday 5th June.

2.     Eco Schools Grants (NSW)
The Eco Schools Program funds schools to assist with environmental learning opportunities for students, teachers and the school community. Eco Schools' projects provide hands-on curriculum-based environmental education focussing on strong student participation. 3.     2017 State & Territory Landcare Awards
For groups or individuals involved in protecting or improving the local environment, farm, coastline, bushland, wetland, waterway, school, region, catchment or backyard. 4.     Wheatbelt NRM Sustainable Community Grants (WA)
Category B: Improve & Inspire
Applicants can apply for up to $8,000. A total of $32,000 is available in the 2017 Category B grant round. For projects improving the Water, Energy and Waste efficiency of local households, community organisations, local shires, schools and businesses. Projects funded in this category must demonstrate community benefit and an ability to achieve lasting benefits. Activities must take place in the Avon River Basin (ARB) and directly benefit ARB communities. Applications close 5.00pm Friday 28 July 2017 http://www.wheatbeltnrm.org.au/scg

5.     Farming Around Australia virtual excursion program
Meat & Livestock Australia (MLA) have introduced Farming Around Australia, a FREE, unique and interactive virtual excursion program, tailored to all year groups and curriculum links for Science and Technologies from Foundation to Year 6. Using a SMART board, classes can participate in a live lesson via video conference, with a qualified teacher and a beef or lamb farmer. 6.     South Eastern Chances Scholarships (VIC)
South Eastern Chances is an innovative scholarship program that provides financial support to young people living in south east Melbourne to pursue their dreams and academic ability. Applications close 14 July 2017. http://www.connections.org.au/south-eastern-chances
