1.     Girls in STEM free event - Capital City Local Learning & Employment Network (VIC)
Now in its second year, the City LLEN in partnership with Engineers Australia are holding another Girls in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering & Maths) event to encourage female secondary school students to consider the exciting career options available in STEM. 2.     Harmony Grants (NT)
Grants of up to $1,000 are available to organisations in the Northern Territory (NT) for projects, events and activities that promote cultural diversity or harmony. This includes funding to participate in the Darwin Waterfront Harmony Soiree and the Big Day Out in Harmony at Alice Springs.  Applications close 31 October 2017. https://nt.gov.au/community/multicultural-communities/multicultural-grants/harmony-grants-program

3.     With One Voice choir seed funding - Creativity Australia
The With One Voice movement is about strengthening communities and inspiring individuals to find their voice. We believe empowered individuals and supportive communities are better placed to solve society's big challenges including cross-cultural integration, unemployment, mental illness, productivity, skills shortages, loneliness and isolation, family fragmentation, homelessness and more. 4.     Women in STEM and Entrepreneurship Program
The program provides funding to support women in STEM and to eliminate barriers for women's participation in STEM education and careers, including entrepreneurship. The program supports projects that foster girls' and women's interest in STEM and entrepreneurship, develop their scientific and entrepreneurial knowledge and skills, build their professional networks, or other activities consistent with the program's objectives. The program also provides funding to identify and celebrate STEM role models in science and research, entrepreneurship and corporate leadership to inspire school-age girls. Note: primary and secondary schools are not eligible (however, primary and secondary schools may be part of a joint application if the lead applicant is eligible). 5.     EducationHQ Unsung Heroes Awards 2017
It's time to recognise the unsung heroes within your school community and the wider education sector. We're talking about those we know who calmly and humbly, go about providing the best they can for those in their care without a fuss.  Nominations close November 13, 2017 and voting opens November 15, 2017. https://au.educationhq.com/unsung-heroes/

6.     Telstra Kids Fund
Powered by the Telstra Foundation, Telstra Kids champions local community connections for kids in Australia. This year, Telstra has partnered with Technology Will Save Us to create some grant offers for pre, primary and secondary school students.
