Vin Feeney wins inaugural CaSPA National Leadership Excellence Award

Vin Feeney wins inaugural CaSPA National Leadership Excellence Award

With the support of our National Partner - The Catholic Superannuation Fund - CaSPA has inaugarated a Biennial Award to recognise excellence in leadership by its members.

Awards are to be presented at our National Conference for each state and territory and there is a single National Award from those who have received one of the regional awards.

The Awards cover all aspects of Leadership and nominees are assessed on their performance according to the following dimensions:

  • Catholic identity and ethos
  • Teaching and learning
  • Leadership capacity
  • Pastoral care and wellbeing
  • Community and culture
  • Finances facilities and resources
  • Leadership in the wider Catholic educational landscape

We congratulate the following CaSPA members who received the Regional Awards:

NT - David Finch
SA - Pam Ronan
WA - Sheena Barber
Qld - Daryl Hanly
Vic - Vin Feeney
NSW - Patricia Maidens
Tas - Tom Dorey

At the recent CaSPA Conference in Darwin these Principals received their awards from CSF Chairman, Mr Peter Bugden.

The National Award included a $2000 scholarship for the successful nominee. We congratulate Vin Feeney [former President of CaSPA and current principal of St Joseph's College, Ferntree Gully, Victoria] on being chosen as the inaugural winner of the National Award. Vin is picutred above receiving his Award from Mr Peter Bugden.
