This years' Stay Smart Online Week is all about Simple steps to online safety, with a focus on five key areas: privacy of your personal information, strong passwords, software updates, backing up your important information and avoiding online scams.

Please find attached a resource kit for you to use to promote the week. This kit includes:
·         Facebook, Instagram and Twitter infographics, promoting
o   a countdown to the week,

o   the simple steps theme,

o   the Alert service, and

o   the five key steps (for use from 9 October).

·         Suggested wording for social media posts.
·         Print-ready materials (postcards on the key steps, posters and the Stay Smart Online guides).
·         A media release template.
·         Newsletter content.

We encourage you to use these materials to promote Stay Smart Online Week to your audiences.

In addition, we would love to share your content with our audience through our social media channels and website. Please let us know if there is anything you think might be relevant.

Please keep us updated about your plans for the Week, and we will be in touch shortly with an invitation to the launch event.

We look forward to working closely with you to make Stay Smart Online Week a success!

Kind regards,
